Now in ProductPlan: The Reimagined Roadmap Experience

Now in ProductPlan: The Reimagined Roadmap Experience
Roadmaps have been rebuilt from the ground up. Your initiatives, epics, and stories now live with your product rather than inside a single roadmap — which means a roadmap becomes a view you shape, not an artifact you maintain. Available to new ProductPlan accounts now, with existing accounts migrating in cohorts over the coming months.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
- One flexible roadmap type. Roadmaps, portfolios, and strategic portfolios collapse into a single roadmap object you can create, edit, and view from anywhere. Build from scratch on an empty canvas, or build from your existing backlog and let filters group items into lanes automatically.
- A backlog for every product. Every initiative, epic, and story in a product's hierarchy lives in one place. The same item can appear on as many roadmaps as it's relevant to and stays editable on each one, so there's never a second copy to reconcile.
- Timeline and Board, without rebuilding. Switch layouts, regroup by product, objective, or any dropdown field, and change your color coding system— all on the same roadmap.
- Sharing you control precisely. Roadmaps start private to you and your admins. Open them to your product, to your whole account, or to specific people and teams, and publish a public link when you need to share outside your organization.
- Jira Cloud, rebuilt. Your admin connects Jira once, maps fields per project, and sets a sync direction for each one. Describe the work you want on the roadmap in plain language and ProductPlan builds the query — no JQL required. Jira's own fields, like status and assignee, always flow one way, so your engineering data stays untouched.
