Our product team has been keeping busy, and we’re excited to review recent changes and share what’s next on the horizon with you! Looking ahead, we’re planning quarterly releases packed with new features and improvements that will elevate your experience with ProductPlan.
Following each quarterly release, we’ll host roundtable discussions to dive deep into the latest trends in the product industry and explore how our innovations align with these trends. These conversations will provide a comprehensive overview of recent enhancements we’ve made, ensuring that you are up to speed and empowered to make the most of our tool.
At the heart of these updates is our steadfast commitment to elevating your experience with ProductPlan. We’re prioritizing key areas to deliver the most impactful improvements for you and our users at large.
Q2 Releases
We’re excited to announce our Q2 releases, featuring expanded integrations for seamless connectivity and enhanced OKR management tools. Explore these updates to see how they can elevate your team’s performance and streamline your workflows.
Integrations
This past quarter, we stayed committed to enhancing integrations and are thrilled to announce that we now have the flexibility to integrate ProductPlan into your existing ecosystems. All in all, we’re here to empower you to connect ProductPlan with the tools and platforms you already use, enhancing your workflow and maximizing efficiency.
If you’re interested in a specific integration or have suggestions, please reach out to product directly via product@productplan.com. Your feedback is invaluable as we continue to expand our integration offerings and make ProductPlan an even more integral part of your product management toolkit. Now, let’s jump into some integration specifics from Q2!
- SCIM Provisioning: Auto-provision and auto-remove users via SCIM. New users added to your IdP (or groups within the IdP) can now be automatically provisioned to ProductPlan. This automation means Admins no longer need to track which users are leaving their organization and remember to remove their licenses from ProductPlan.
- ADO Dependency Sync: Our team recently released an update to our Native Azure DevOps integration to support dependency sync. For ADO users, work items with Predecessor and Successor links will reflect as Required by and Requires connectors on their roadmap. This enhancement helps you identify, track, and manage dependencies, ensuring you stay on top of upcoming efforts.
- User Management: The Users tab of Account Settings no displays the editor & viewer counts, providing account owners with visibility into platform access for better transparency and security.
Strategy
The Product Strategy space has been another key focus area for ProductPlan in Q2, as we remain focused on enhancing your team’s strategic planning and OKR tracking processes. These new features are designed to help you align your team’s efforts with your organization’s goals, ensuring everyone is moving in the same direction.
Check out the below enhancements to see how we can better support your upcoming strategic initiatives.
- RAG Statuses: Apply red, amber and green (RAG) statuses to objectives to denote risk. This allows you to quickly see how an objective is tracking alongside key results and roadmap initiative progress.
- Archive Objectives: Archive outdated objectives to focus on active ones, ensuring your team prioritizes the work that will help meet your goals and drive the business forward.
Finally, you’ve asked and we’ve listened, so we are excited to announce that we’ve greatly enhanced the limit of custom fields within the platform. Admins can create more account-level and team-level custom fields. These fields help convey additional aspects of your work, relating to the overall business.
